Generally I post a lot of ramblings here about the industry and such, but I had my eye caught by the Tokyo Olympics 2020 video game that's releasing this July 24th in Japan.
Tim on a time crunch - who knew? Episode 25 is just catching up and hanging out and talking about classic games and how they've evolved over a few short generations - from the N64/PSOne/Dreamcast era to the GameCube/Xbox/PS2 era even into the PS3/Xbox 360/Wii era. The focuses have changed, but a lot of super simple games have stayed around.

ShakkaPanda joins the show for this episode! Shakka and Tim discuss content creation philosophies and inspirations, intentions and the fact that "it's okay to play." The pair also dig into Pewdiepie joining DLive to live stream there, and discuss the risks and concerns that being on a platform with such a polarizing figure can bring. They also talk about morality and whether your own content should be dictated by others on the platform or the platform's choices.

I know the title is pretty rough, but my frustration with PC Gamers (notice the capital "g") is extremely hard to contain.
Tim talks about supporting content creators, the Epic Games Store versus Steam (and the weird fanboyism around it), and callout culture on Twitter.
This week's featured soundtrack is from Jet Set Radio Future.
Tim runs an AMA - Ask Me Anything! Questions range from FromSoftware and soulsbourne games, AFK Streams and Sparks, DnD and Game Backlogs! We run the gamut this week!
