This week’s featured game soundtrack is Chrono Trigger.
Chrono Trigger is a game that was way ahead of its time, featuring a complex time travel plot, solid combat mechanics and some truly touching and beautiful moments.
Composed by Yasunori Mitsuda, the game’s soundtrack perfectly encapsulates the themes and moments of the game. My favorite songs on this soundtrack are Chrono’s Theme, as well as Mystery of the Forest. There’s a really awesome remix of Mystery of the Forest here by Delight Music that really hits the spot in a lot of good ways.
